Pebble Players Completes SELL OUT Run of Bring It On!
Stony Hill Players first show of the season ran from November 14-23 to sold out shows every night! The incredibly talented cast of singers, dancers and gymnasts was recruited from a wide area, with talented youth coming from up to an hour away to participate in the first ever community theater production of this high-flying show of cheerleading drama. The show featured not only top gymnastic talent from the area's gymnastics studios, but highly ranked dancers were added to lead the complicated dance sequences.
The performers really came together, supporting each other (both literally and figuratively), and audiences could really see the results of the amazing bonding that took place. The power of the ensemble songs and cheer sequences really blew people away, and resulted in friends and families begging for more tickets. Turning people away is a nice problem to have in community theater, but we still regret all those folks that couldn't get seats. Don't miss out next time -- buy your tickets early! And thank you to all those who made Bring It On such a fantastic experience for all.
Production Staff needed
Stony Hill Players is always looking for more volunteers who want to be involved in the theater. Right now, we need help selling tickets at the door for The Addams Family shows, and working the lights for Addams Family or Play On. We are also looking for an experienced producer for Play On. If you are interested in these positions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your interest and contact details.
The Addams Family features fun for the whole family!
You might have loved the cartoon, or remember the TV Show. Perhaps you came late to the party and only remember the movie, but you’ve never seen The Addams Family quite like this. From the writers of Jersey Boys, Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice and with a score by Andrew Lippa comes The Addams Family Musical.Charles Addams’ classic creepy and "altogether kooky" characters – Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Lurch, Grandma and Uncle Fester all take the stage this winter in a riotous musical comedy.
Wednesday is now all grown up and much to her parents’ dismay, in LOVE! The magnificently macabre family is put to the test when outsiders come to dinner, hurling them into a night that will change their lives forever.
The show boasts a cast of 20 incredible performers from the surrounding area, featuring some of your Stony Hill and Pebble Player favorites, as well as many making their Stony Hill Players debut. Frank Skokan returns as Gomez with his real life daughter Hannah Skokan alternating with Carissa Gaughran as the deliciously dark Wednesday. The talented cast features Molly Frieri (Morticia); Paul Schrope and Matthew Green (alternating as Pugsley); Karina Munoz (Grandma Addams); TJ Reissner (Uncle Fester), Juliana Valente (Alice Bienke); Brian George (Mal Bienke); Stephen Carlstrom (Lucas Bienke); and Richard Dwyer as the lovable Lurch. Additional cast members Claire Bochenek, Mandy Crawford, Joanna Haupt, Lauren Karu, Mary Kate Portera, Joey Grimes, William Kaiser, François Suhr, Rayman Wyatt bring the ensemble to amazing heights.
The hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does. When the author decides to give a speech during the curtain calls, the audience is treated to a madcap climax.
Show dates are March 20-29, 2015.
